Dennis Trebing is a 31 year old American, born and raised in Cape Coral, FL. Because both of his parents are originally from Germany, Dennis is a dual citizen and speaks fluent German, which has helped during press interviews in both languages.
Dennis started his racing career at the age of 14 with karts at IMA in Florida. After winning many races and never missing a podium, Dennis moved to Senior Tag before progressing to the Skip Barber Racing School.
Dennis took a 3 day racing school in Homestead, and a 2 day Advanced school at Road America before starting in the Skip Barber Racing School Southern Series! After a year of karting and excelling in open-wheeled formula cars, 17 year old Trebing won the Skip Barber Racing School Southern Series Championship! In the same year, Dennis competed with 50 of the best karting drivers, and won a prestigious scholarship at the Skip Barber Shoot-Out!
For the 2011 season, Dennis Trebing raced with the world’s most environmentally friendly race series in the Volkswagen Motorsports Scirocco R-Cup, finishing with an impressive 2nd place in the Junior Cup. He was also chosen as a finalist for the distinguished Team USA Scholarship. In 2012, Dennis was chosen as a Porsche Junior Program Finalist! Dennis Trebing made history again in 2012 with his 2nd place finish in the championship in the Volkswagen Motorsports Scirocco R-Cup as the best finishing American in a Volkswagen Series in Europe! For 2013, Dennis was asked to race the Scirocco R-Cup again in the #21 AutoStadt sponsored car. He became the first American to ever win a race in a Volkswagen Series in Europe.
Since 2013, Dennis has found his home track at the Nürburgring and the VLN series and the ADAC 24 Hour race. For 2013, Dennis led Landgraf Motorsports with 5 podiums in 6 races. For 2014, Trebing raced with RTR Teichmann Racing in the GT3 Cup Porsche, finishing 2nd in class in the ADAC Zurich 24 hour Race with another VLN in class win.
Continuing on the Nürburgring in 2017, Dennis continued with his trend of setting the fastest lap on the team with another 2nd in the Cup2 Class finish with Team75 Bernhard. At the FARA Sunset 500, Trebing helped Hubbell Racing finish 1st overall in their Chevy Daytona Prototype on the Homestead Miami Speedway. The highlight of the year was a 4th place finish in the ADAC Zurich 24 hour race with GetSpeed Performance.
2018 was another busy season, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishes in Miami, Sebring, and Daytona in a Corvette Daytona Prototype with Hubbell Racing, and a 2nd in class win with Giti Tires in the Dörr Motorsport Lamborgini in the ADAC Zurich 24 hour race! Dennis gained further time and experience on the Nürburgring in 2019 racing the ADAC Zurich 24 hour race with Black Falcon racing in a Porsche Cup MR in the SP7 class. Dennis also raced the full season with Dörr motorsport in the ADAC GT4 in a Mclaren 570GT4, while also coaching teammate Phil Dörr.
Dennis loves to race and learn a new car, and is a professional and personable representative both on and off the track. When he’s not racing or training, Dennis enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters and 2 dogs, going on the boat, fishing, and traveling.
